Your new role

As the Executive Officer, you’ll work closely with our senior executive to provide a range of duties that supports the creation of a brand new school. You’ll be an essential part of the All Saints Anglican School formation team who collectively coordinate our engagement with the Anglican Schools Commission (ASC), the community, and internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for student enrolments, and the coordination and management of student management functions such as arranging interviews, financial aspects such as billing and school fee payments, and communication with families.

While student management will be your major focus, you’ll also work on key projects, briefings, reports, general correspondence, policy development and planning tasks, often with competing deadlines. You’ll work closely with the Director, Vic-NSW, the School Principal and the ASC Head Office staff, on high priority and high-profile tasks as the School takes shape.

You’ll provide executive administrative support and project work, including planning and preparing papers, reports and communication on behalf of the School. The role will require excellent organisational skills and the ability to perform in a deadline driven environment.  Your ability to exercise critical judgement, combined with attention to detail, will underpin your effectiveness in the collation of data and information, particularly to develop briefings and communications.

All Saints Anglican School operates under the Anglican Schools Commission Victorian Enterprise Agreement 2016.

The salary range for this role (under the classification of a General Employee Administration/Operations Staff Range 3 -1 to Range 4 – 6) is currently between $72,786 to $109,686.

About you

You’re a natural problem solver who shows initiative, self-motivation, ingenuity, and confidence when dealing with people. You’re interested in project management, and you enjoy the challenge of looking at the creation of, and how to improve processes and practices for improved outcomes. You know how to leverage the Microsoft Office suite to support effective workplace planning, organisation, and prioritisation.

You’re a people person and you communicate seamlessly with the ability to tailor your communication to the intended audience. You like addressing all your tasks ‘head on’ with professionalism and poise and you have strong and recent experience working closely with a variety of people from community stakeholders to senior executives to tradespeople.
