2019 WA ATAR Results

Congratulations to the ASC’s 2019 Year 12 graduates

Beazley Medal: VET

St Mark’s Anglican Community School student Jesse Morris-Parmer was the ASC’s highest individual performer, winning the 2019 Beazley Medal: VET, the State’s top honour in student achievement in vocational education and training.

 

 

Jesse was also awarded:

  • VET Exhibition for the top student in Primary, Environmental and Animal Care Industries,
  • VET Certificate of Excellence.

This is the second year in a row that a student from an ASC school has been awarded the Beazley Medal: VET. Last year Swan Valley Anglican Community School student Jess Haydon won the award.

Subject Certificates of Excellence

Four Subject Certificates of Excellence were awarded to our WA students for being in the top 0.5 per cent of examination marks in an ATAR course.

Our congratulations go to:

  • Elizabeth Rugendyke (Health Studies) from Frederick Irwin Anglican School
  • Lachlan Thomas (Mathematics Methods) from St Mark’s Anglican Community School
  • Meg Gibson (Physical Education Studies) from St Mark’s Anglican Community School, and
  • A student (name not for publication) (English) from John Wollaston Anglican Community School

VET Certificate of Excellence

Two Certificates of Excellence were awarded to students in the top 0.5 per cent of the Primary , Environmental and Animal Care Industries course. Jesse Morris-Parmer from St Mark’s Anglican Community School, and a student (name not for publication) from Georgiana Molloy Anglican School.

Certificates of Distinction and Certificates of Merit

In other awards, 41 students received Certificates of Distinction (for students who receive 190-200 points from 20 Year 11 and 12 units), and a further 113 students earned Certificates of Merit, for students who receive 150-189 points.

These Awards were won by students at the following ASC schools:

  • John Septimus Roe Anglican Community School – 10 Certificates of Distinction, 22 Certificates of Merit
  • St Mark’s Anglican Community School – 9 Certificates of Distinction, 24 Certificates of Merit
  • Frederick Irwin Anglican School – 5 Certificates of Distinction, 19 Certificates of Merit
  • Georgiana Molloy Anglican School – 5 Certificates of Distinction, 13 Certificates of Merit
  • Peter Moyes Anglican Community School – 5 Certificates of Distinction, 13 Certificates of Merit
  • John Wollaston Anglican Community School – 4 Certificates of Distinction, 8 Certificates of Merit
  • St George’s Anglican Grammar School – 2 Certificates of Distinction, 7 Certificates of Merit
  • Swan Valley Anglican Community School – 1 Certificate of Distinction, 4 Certificates of Merit
  • Peter Carnley Anglican Community School – 2 Certificates of Merit
  • Esperance Anglican Community School – 1 Certificate of Merit
