On Friday, 14 June, Peter Carnley Anglican Community School celebrated its Annual Founders’ Day with vibrant community spirit, highlighted by a Junior School Colour Run to raise funds for All Saints School in Samoa.
The Colour Run was a significant success, with students enthusiastically tracking their fundraising progress and raising an impressive $3,880. Two Year 10 students who visited Samoa during a service learning trip used the funds to purchase much-needed fans for the All Saints School’s classrooms.
This year’s Founders’ Day honoured the School’s heritage and demonstrated its strong community spirit and commitment to global awareness through meaningful action and support.
‘Belonging is one of our core values, fostering positive relationships, embracing diversity, and celebrating differences. Our Service Learning Program enriches our school community and empowers our students to make valuable contributions to the global community,’ Ms Felicity House, Principal.
