Strengthening Global Connections in China
Recently, representatives from our international school accompanied CEO, The Reverend Peter Laurence OAM, on a visit to five key cities in China. The purpose of the trip was to strengthen ties with our valued business partners in Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Shanghai.
This visit marked a long-awaited opportunity to reconnect with agents and partners, many of whom we had not seen in person since before the pandemic disrupted international travel. Our team was warmly welcomed in each city, with visits to our partners’ offices where students eagerly explore opportunities to further their education overseas.
We were fortunate to receive excellent in-market support from the Government of Western Australia’s trade offices in Hangzhou and Shanghai, as well as Austrade’s office in Chengdu. Their assistance was instrumental in facilitating productive meetings and deepening our understanding of this vital region.
The feedback and market insights gathered during this trip are invaluable as ASC International continues to expand its engagement with students and families from China; we look forward to building on these connections.
