The Anglican Schools Commission International (ASCI) has been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School, becoming the sole institution in Western Australia to achieve this distinction.
This accomplishment follows ASCI’s School Transformation Project, which commenced in 2020, leading to the attainment of Microsoft Incubator School status in 2021 and ultimately reaching Showcase School status in 2023.
To qualify, ASCI demonstrated its commitment to student-centred, immersive, and inclusive learning experiences, integrating technology purposefully into teaching and learning programs.
ASCI well exceeded base-level requirements with 75% of its teachers holding Microsoft Certified Educator status and 100% achieving Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert status.
Deputy Director Kate Simeon was also honoured as a Microsoft Innovative Expert Fellow, a recognition bestowed upon individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in the educational community.
ASCI’s attainment of Microsoft Showcase School status reflects its dedication to leveraging technology for educational excellence and innovations.
