ASC Health and Safety Officer

We are pleased to announce a new addition to the ASC Risk and Compliance team: Cherise Larralde, who has taken on the role of Health and Safety Officer. With a firm commitment to prioritising the well-being of our staff, students, and visitors across ASC schools, Cherise brings a wealth of expertise to this crucial position.

Since joining us in January of this year, Cherise has wasted no time immersing herself in understanding the intricacies of our processes and workplace activities. She has been visiting our Western Australian schools, with upcoming visits planned for schools in Victoria and New South Wales.

In the months ahead, Cherise will focus on several key areas to bolster our safety measures and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. These include:

Enhancing Safety Processes: Cherise will collaborate with schools to strengthen existing safety protocols while ensuring they align with current legislative requirements.

Improving Safety Reporting: Recognising the importance of transparent and efficient reporting, Cherise aims to streamline our safety reporting processes for better accuracy and timeliness.

Developing Supportive Resources: Cherise will lead initiatives to create and distribute resources while providing invaluable support in navigating health and safety challenges.

Implementing Training Programs: Developing and implementing comprehensive training resources, enhancing staff knowledge and the skills necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Cherise is enthusiastic about collaborating closely with our schools and is committed to offering ongoing support as health and safety matters arise.
